December is the perfect time of year to visit Disney–it’s not too hot and the Christmas decorations are stunning! We are seasonal annual pass holders because we live in Florida. This past weekend we visited EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
Disney now provides “magic bands” that links everything to your account. You just scan that little Mickey and you can pay for parking, meals, use Fast Passes, unlock your hotel room and gain entrance to the parks!
Here is my hubby matching his fingerprint to his “magic band” ID.
Mickey and Minnie ready for Christmas!
There is music and entertainment all over the park.
My hubby, Juan and I in front of the EPCOT ball.
Our first stop was England. Our goal for this trip was to relax–no rides (I know, right!) So, off to the pub for an ale.
…and a pause for some Celtic music.
Tea anyone? See what I mean?! The Christmas decorations are spectacular.
By this time, we were hungry. Lunch was in Japan.
Sushi and sake!
Aren’t the gardens of Japan beautiful?
Next stop is France for dessert.
Yummy! Juan had the chocolate éclair and I had the chocolate mousse. No trip to France is complete without pink champagne!
The sky was becoming so dark and heavy, so we decided to head back to the hotel for a nap. Here is my hubby searching for our car in the rain!
It poured while we were back at the hotel! Perfect time to refresh and get ready for our night at Hollywood Studios.
This is the whole reason for our trip…to see the Osborne Family lights. It is a display of thousands of lights timed to music. It lights up the night sky with Christmas cheer.
Yes, we got rained on again. But, it was worth it to see the magic Disney displays for Christmas. Lucky for me, I had this scarf to cover my head!
Until next time Disney….
