Spring has sprung and we are moving into warmer temps here in Florida.
I have gathered products that I have been enjoying.
John Grisham’s Gray Mountain — a legal thriller that brings Samantha Kofer from big New York law firm to the mountains of small town Brady, VA when the recession hits in 2008. Samantha gets drawn into the illegal and highly volatile business of strip mining for coal. Typical Grisham style takes you on twists, turns and adventures that will keep the pages turning! I loved this book. Although fiction, it led me to research the very real cases of strip mining and what it is doing to our environment.
The Body Shop Vitamin C Facial Cleansing Polish — I keep this product in the shower. I use these Lil’ scrubbies Facial Cleaning Pads to spread on my face. The lil’ Scrubbies help to exfoliate. I love the suction cup on the back. I stick them on my shower wall. The Vitamin C Facial Cleansing g Polish brightens my skin, encourages collagen growth and improves elasticity. The cleanser is made with the Amazonian camu camu seed, which is known to have one of the highest contents of vitamin C in nature. I definitely notice a difference using this product!
La Croix Coconut Water — I gave up soda a little over a year ago. I am always looking for flavorful alternatives. I found this one at Target. I love carbonated water anyway, so I felt like I struck gold with this one. I had heard about coconut water and always wanted to try it. This will be my go-to summer drink!!
Wet n Silky by Cala — My daughter used a similar brush to brush out her wet hair. She started noticing hair growth only a couple of weeks using this brush. I found mine in Marshall’s. I have seen them in TJ Maxx as well. I thought I would give it a try. My hair had become thin from my two surgeries and medication for cancer. IT WORKED!!!!!!! I now have the same shorter hairs filling in all over!
An awesome show I had to binge watch to catch up on is SHADES OF BLUE! What an exciting series starring Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liota. Watch the trailer…
I was drawn in immediately!! Jennifer Lopez (Maid in Manhatten and Shall We Dance) is beautiful and compelling. Ray Liota (Good Fellas and Unlawful Entry) is the same bad cop as in Unlawful Entry only older, wiser and shadier!!
There you have it–a few of my favorites. Have you tried any of these? I would love to hear about it. Leave a comment.
See you in my next post!
