My husband and I recently stayed at Embassy Suites in The Woodlands, Texas. Is is a brand new hotel. It even still had the new carpet smell! The color palette are blues, grays and whites.
The lobby is bright and inviting. We were given two free bottles of water at check in. There are snacks and sundries for purchase, a business center, a bar and a restaurant in the lobby area.
I loved this water feature in the lobby.
The bar has a complementary evening reception from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Here is another angle of the water feature in the lobby.
The rooms are beautifully done and make good use of the space. There is a small living room.
The kitchenette has a microwave, refrigerator, sink, storage and a coffee maker. A table can be used for a desk or to have meals.
The king-size bed we had was very soft and comfortable. The mattress has a pillow top cover. The pillows were all down. I prefer a firmer pillow. I did not ask at the front desk. I could possibly have gotten one. There were plenty of plugs, USB ports and ample lighting.
There was a flat screen TV in both the living room and the bedroom.
The bathroom is done with glass tiles in the shower. Beautiful tile that goes through to the kitchen area. Shampoo, conditioner and lotion are provided. The towels are thick spa style. I wish there would have been a lighted makeup mirror, but there was a vanity in the bedroom.
The closet has a safe. I also wish there would have been a light in the closet. It was hard to see the safe.
There is a gym and a pool, but we weren’t there long enough to enjoy.
Easy access to I45 and there are plenty of restaurants and shops near by.
This was a very enjoyable stay!
