Another month has past and it is time for my favorites for the month of December.
First of all, I had to switch to gummy vitamins because I was having trouble swallowing. I decided to try Nature Made Adult Gummies Multi For Her. I found them at Target and they are on sale right now on the website for $11.69 for a 90 count bottle. My Mom told me how good these are. She was right! It is like being a kid again 🙂 These come in the flavor of strawberry, orange and lemon. I also liked that they have added Omega-3s.
My Girls Skin Care was recommended to me by a fellow breast cancer survivor for my incision scars. I bought the travel size to test it out. I paid $15.99 for 3.4 ounces. I love this product. It soothes and hydrates my incisions. I will repurchase this once it runs out.
December is the month for peppermint, so I thought I would give this Chapstick a try. It tingles when applied and is very pepperminty. It applies as any Chapstick product–smooth, non-drying and long-lasting. This must be a seasonal product because I can no longer find it on either Target or Walmart websites.
Tarte Greatest Glitz Holiday Palette was also a Christmas gift. This too is a seasonal product. Every year around the holidays the big, shiny new palettes come out. I could NOT resist this one! I watched Emily Noel review it on her YouTube channel. The packaging is gorgeous. It includes three separate palattes with 8 eye shadows and one blush. It also included a lip creme and a mascara. I will do separate blog post to review it more completely.
My final favorite is not really a beauty product, but it was very helpful for my emotional and spiritual well-being. A book by Mark Nepo called The Endless Practice is an in depth look at becoming who you were meant to be. The author explains how the point of experience is not to escape it, but to live it. I had to read little sections at a time to absorb the full meaning. This is one that you cannot be distracted while reading.
What are some of your favorites; whether they are makeup, books or tv shows? I would love to hear from you. Leave me a comment.
